As a member of the College’s Fellowship, you and your colleagues are at the heart of what we do. It is your research and work that shapes the College’s academic life.
Below are some answers to the most common questions for Fellows. If you have other questions, please don't hesitate to contact the Academic Office.
Please contact Justine Crump in the Academic Office who can request a new card for you if you are eligible (please note that a fee is charged by the University Card Office for replacing lost cards).
Your university email account is linked to your university card; it will remain active for as long as you have an in-date card.

The first stage of applying for funding will usually be a proposal put forward at a meeting of your Group, or at Group Chairs' Committee. Please contact Justine Crump in the Academic Office for advice in the first instance.
Proposals for Associate Member elections may be put forward by Fellows, to their Academic Group in the first instance with eventual ratification by Governing Body. Fellows must make a case concerning the joint work with the proposed Associate Member and the general benefit to the College.

Researchers who hold posts in the University or funded by research grants may be be proposed by a Nuffield Fellow for election to a Non-Stipendiary Research Fellowship (NSRFs). The relevant Academic Group and PPRF Committee will consider such proposals in the first instance, with eventual ratification by Governing Body.

OxPo (the Oxford-Sciences Po programme) seeks to facilitate scholarly exchanges and collaborative projects between Sciences Po in Paris, and the Departments of Sociology, Politics and International Relations, the Modern European History Research Centre and Social Policy and Intervention in Oxford. The Maison Française is also a partner in the programme.
