The following are committees of the College. Note that some committees' minutes contain reserved business, which can be viewed by a subset of committee members.
N.B. At present, papers and minutes are available on the Intranet for Governing Body (Ordinary) Meeting and Information Systems Committee only. Papers for other committees will continue to be distributed in hard copy or, in some cases, via email. Please contact the Academic Office if you have any questions.

EDI Committee is responsible for the development, implementation, monitoring, prioritisation and review of policies, procedures and practice to support EDI in College in relation to staff, students, Fellows, visitors and others closely associated with the College.

ISC monitors the progress of the information systems strategy within College.
Its papers are generally open for all to view.

The Library Committee’s role is to oversee the provision and use of Library facilities in Nuffield. It directs the overall Library and Information Provision strategy of the College and shapes Library policy. It oversees the spending of the Library budget. It monitors the professional development of library staff. It receives reports from the Librarian on how Library policy is being implemented and should be developed, and makes recommendations for further action.

The College Welfare Committee has the responsibility of keeping under review matters relevant to the welfare of all students and staff (academic and non-academic) of the College. It is concerned with issues of policy, not with individual cases. Among the topics considered are: legislation; university and College policies relevant to welfare; issues impacting College members' welfare and wellbeing; provision for College members with disabilities; financial hardship; accommodation; safety and security.
The Committee is chaired by the Warden, and the minutes are received by the Governing Body. Staff and student representatives attend. It usually meets every term, on Wednesday of 6th Week.
