Connecting to your College drives using Mac OS

Please contact it@nuffield.ox.ac.uk if you need to confirm your direct, unique server path.

1. Ensure - unless you are on site and connected to the network via Ethernet - that you have the VPN set up and running.
2. Click on Go then Connect to Server.
   
   
   
3. Type the server smb://nuff-frankel.nuff.ox.ac.uk/ followed by your unique folder path
   
   
   • If you wish to access the College 'H' drive, please instead type smb://nuff.ox.ac.uk/nuffieldcollege/
     This will give you access to Publicspace, plus any Teamspace folders you have security permissions for.
     
     
4. Select the + sign to add it to your 'Favorite Servers' path and use that to Connect.
   
   
   
5. Type your Nuffield username and password and select Remember this password in my keychain.
   
   
   
6. Click Connect
   
   
7. Click on Finder then Preferences. Ensure that the General tab is selected then make sure that that the Connected servers box is ticked. You should now see your folder on your desktop.
