Microsoft Licence Re-Activation

To ensure that only personnel entitled to a copy can maintain their license, a connection to the University network must first be established.

Therefore, to re-activate your license for Microsoft Office and Windows 7 and 10, please first establish a VPN connection.

Please save a copy of Activate All 2016.zip to your machine's desktop (this is an all-in-one tool which will cover both the Office suite and Windows operating systems).

Open the zip file and right click the contents to 'Run as Administrator' .


A blue Command Prompt box will then appear. Please follow any prompts provided.


To confirm that the license has applied successfully:
For the Office suite - Open Word, go to the 'File' tab then 'Account' to confirm the status.


For Windows - Right click over 'Computer' or 'This PC', then select Properties.
